Follow the steps below to add a header in your Google Docs:

1. Navigate to Google Docs and sign in with your account.

2. Start a new document by selecting a Blank template from the drop-down menu.

3. Click Insert in the newly created doc, scroll down and click Headers & footers, and click on the Headers button.

You will see that your document now contains an additional header area where you can add a header. You are free to enter anything in this section, which will be displayed in the header of each page.

5. To format the Header, click Options.
